Company overview
Our Chinese name, 广而告之 (Guang Er Gao Zhi), means to spread the message far and wide, which precisely expresses the nature of advertising.

Established in 2003, CMM has developed into a leading independent advertising company in China. Leveraging our high quality media resources, we provide a full range of advertising services, including advertising agency services, creative production services, public service announcements sponsorship services, and other value added services.
As a leading independent advertising company in China, CMM has proven its ability in identifying, acquiring, developing, and distributing high quality television advertising airtime. We obtained advertising rights to an average of 313 minutes per day in 2008 for regular daily programs on CCTV 1,2,4 E and F.

On August 4, 2008, CMM successfully launched its initial public offering on NYSE Arca under the ticker symbol "CMM" and became China's first TV advertising company listed on NYSE. On August 24, 2009, CMM has successfully transferred the listing of its ADSs from NYSE Arca to the NYSE.

Our primary media resources include Daytime Advertising Package, Television Guides, Chinese New Year Gala Program, First News, and CCTV Channel 4 News Related Programs. Daytime Advertising Package and Television Guides are the premier package products of CCTV; each appears at least 10 times per day throughout the daytime hours on CCTV Channels 1 and 2. Those two programs had a cumulative rating of 5.0% and 8.1% respectively in 2008. First News is a popular morning news program on CCTV Channel 2, with a rating of 0.6% in 2008. China News and other news programs on CCTV Channel 4 are the best media channels for overseas audiences to learn about China and for domestic audiences to learn about the world.

In addition to our regular daily television programs, we have been the exclusive advertising agent since 2004 for substantially all the advertising time slots on the Chinese New Year Gala program. The CCTV Chinese New Year Gala program had a rating of 31% in 2008 and ranked number one among all television programs in China. For each year since 2004, we also have assisted CCTV in the sales and marketing of advertising time slots for major sporting events broadcast on CCTV Channel 1 and 2, including both the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup. In July 2008, we secured the exclusive advertising rights to CCTV's Spanish Channel (Channel E) and French Channel (Channel F), which are broadcast 24 hours a day to 36 countries around the world.

Our ability to provide integrated advertising services that are tailored to our customers' needs differentiates us from most other television advertising companies operating in China. These value added services, such as branding, media planning and analysis, and media resource purchases, provide one-stop solutions. We provide our value added services to customers in the telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, financial services, garments, and food sectors, including well-known corporate advertisers such as Mengniu Dairy and the Hualong Group.

We are also a leading producer of public service announcements and commercial television advertisements in China. We have produced more than 50 commercials for customers in the automobile, beverage, internet, and industrial sectors. We have produced more than 200 public service announcements for government agencies and corporations to promote public services. Our advertisements for the Olympics, automobiles, and beverages have won a number of prestigious prizes in China, including the Golden Hawk Award for Best Public Service Announcement, China Advertisement Great Wall Silver Award and China Advertisement Yellow River Golden, Silver and Bronze Awards.

广而告之 (Guang Er Gao Zhi) is a 30-seconds public service announcement program on CCTV Channels 1 and 2 that is arranged by CCTV and CMM. This regularly scheduled program has been influencing the public for years. The Guang Er Gao Zhi program has become highly regarded by the public as a most effective way to convey public service messages on CCTV.

Our achievements have been widely recognized by CCTV, as well as by industry organizations and government agencies. We were named as one of the “Ten Best Advertising Agencies of the Year” by CCTV in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008. Our customers come from more than ten dynamic and promising industries ranging from food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, fashion, household products and electronic appliances, telecommunications and information technology, tourism, finance services and automotive.
